About the event

Lina Khalifeh Founder of SheFighter in her New Online Interview Show called " SheFighter Empowerment zone" will be conducting a series of Interviews with women in different backgrounds of Martial Arts, Feminists, Entrepreneurs, Spiritual Leaders, Humanitarian Entrepreneurs, and much more. To discuss different Inspirational topics around Martial arts, Energy, Mind, spirituality and Life.

In this segment, you will get to meet Christy Selica Alves Nascimento who is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu athlete and feminist activist from South Africa. She works with organisations, collectives and individuals in building and strengthening their campaigns for combatting gender-based violence. She uses self-defense trainings as a channel for supporting women and girls in their journey of liberating their bodies,  reclaiming their agency, and accessing their own inner power. Right now, she is exploring and developing a feminist framework for teaching self-defense, which will be published in November.
